CorbetDean.com features the work of Mesa Police Officer and performance poet, Corbet Dean. This is a robust website featuring a built-from-scratch CMS (PHP and MySQL) managing flash video and audio, photo galleries, a news blog and more. At the client's insistence, this site features auto-play audio upon loading.
The custom CMS allows Corbet to rotate, at will, a playlist of videos taken from a collection of over twenty clips from his DVD. The CMS also allows him to post merchandise for sale using his PayPal merchant account.
Add, edit, delete all the content on the site. The CMS is custom built to the client's work style and technical skill.
PHP-Markdown, based on John Gruber's original Markdown allows the client to format content with no prior knowledge of HTML needed. A sidebar within the CMS lists common formatting options.
